Empty PHP code shows Tab

Hi everyone,

I'm using PHP to show the primary local tasks in a block. This block is shown in a quicktab block.
But when there are no primary local tasks, the block is still visible in the quicktab. Only the title, not the tabpage. All the hide options are set.

I've read some posts about this problem; I think it's because the if-statement in PHP, although without result, is not recognized as empty and there for the block is not empty.

Is this right? And does anyone have a solution?
