Is there a way to use images in tab headers? I can replace the background in the

  • element, but I can't hide the text without losing the link. Is there a way to overwrite the last part of the code that creates the tabs to insert something? Or is there another trick that would let me do this? Other than that, the structure is very easy to style with CSS.

    This is a great idea, I'm also looking around for this. I'm at the stage where I think it might not be possible with QuickTabs.

    I'd be interested in hearing peoples thoughts on this.

    yes, you need to implement theme_quicktabs_tabs() in your theme..
