I have a site that had quicktabs 7.x-3.4 until yesterday, when I upgraded to 7.x-3.6. Suddenly, two tabs were showing "You do not have access to view this content".
And this is what I tracked it down to: The content that is being displayed is a block, that is generated by a view (a block "display" in the view). The block is disabled, but even though it's disabled, in its config, it said to "Show block on specific pages: user/*". The page that the quicktabs are on is not in "user/*".
So earlier it worked, and now with 3.6, it doesn't. Fine... it's sort of a grey area. The block *is* saying what pages it should and should not be displayed on, and this was a page that it shouldn't be displayed on. Maybe it should never have been shown there.
However, getting rid of the "user/*" requirement is NOT how I fixed it. I left that there, and fixed it this way:
In the quicktab config, rather than saying I want to display a block, and then choosing the view-block in question, I switched it to say I want to display a view, and then selected the block-display of the view that I want. And now it's working... and that seems wrong. It should either work both ways, or not work either way.
