Edit save of a node in a QT, with the upper level QT AJAX set to "yes" causes large AJAX error

I've found a bug concerning AJAX in Quicktabs (QT). And I'm sorry if this has been previously posted, but I couldn't find this issue while searching.

Basically, QT instance "A" has the setting "AJAX: Yes: Load only the first tab on page view", and has a tab pointing to QT instance "B". QT B has a tab pointing to "node/1". From in QT B click on the cog wheel and Edit node/1, make a change and Save node/1. A very long AJAX error appears. It appears that on the overlay to Edit node/1 the URL has added quicktabs/ajax after the Fdestination, and that somehow causes the big error. When QT A has the setting changed to "AJAX: No: Load all the tabs", the the save of the edit of node/1 functions ok without the error.

The error shows as a white page with a long error that appears to be AJAX based. The error starts as "[{"command":"settings","settings":{"basePath":"\/","pathPrefix":"","ajaxPageState":{"theme":"tarski",.......".
If I go to the Content page and edit node/1 from there, it works ok. But saving an edit of the node/1 from the QT always results in that big error. Editing other nodes that are in the same QT causes the same error. However, editing a different node that is in a different QT using the same process works ok (none of the tabs has AJAX set to yes).

Concerning the Quicktab and node/1 that showed the error:

• I did have the JQuery Update module installed and set to 1.7 (the status report then showed JQuery 1.7 and JQuery UI 1.8.1 or something like that), but have since uninstalled that module, but the error still happens. I'm guessing that had nothing to do with the error.
• This happens in Chrome and there is no Firebug module installed. It also happens in FF with Firebug.
• I've cleared the cache, ran cron, ran update.php, but the error still happens.
