Default tab setting is not working.

I created a QT block that used two tabs each of the view type and set the 'Default Tab' to one of the views. After saving added this block to a panel page content area. Going to the panel page URL the tabs display. However the default tab is not selected and its content is not displayed. You must select one of the tabs and then the associated view content is displayed correctly. Have tried adding the same block to other non-panel pages and same behavior. Re-tested this several times and same thing happens. Using view ver 2.16 and durpal ver 6.26. Not sure this has been reported before.
