In my Site information panel I have set a specific node to display when a user does not have access to defined content on the website, HOWEVER, it is not displaying appropriately in Quicktabs.
For instance, I am trying to get people to begin paying to read poetry written from 2012 and on into the future. I have set access to the View for 2012 to "authenticated user" so that regular visitors cannot read any content in the View for 2012. A generic message comes up in the Quicktab displaying this view:
"You are not authorized to access this content."
BUT I want "http://c-alexander.us/node/399" to show up here, instead, as it does with any other page a regular visitor would see (i.e. it comes up when typing in any URL for the admin interface).
The custom 403 page shows up appropriately in the 2012 View's page view, so why is it not transferring correctly under Quicktabs?

shiftymic commentedOkay --- so I realized I could just specify node/399 for 2012 in one Quicktab menu, and make a rule in Panels to only display the QT for anonymous users, THEN clone the QT Menu, change the display for 2012 to a Page view of the most recent poems, AND place the menu clone in the same content region of the Panel, and give the clone a rule to only display for Authenticated users!
Whew --- wish it was easier to take advantage of the custom 403 integration of Drupal core, but suppose this will work for now. Perhaps this is something to be looked @ for newer versions of QT?

smustgrave commentedWith D7 EOL approaching in a month I'm starting to triage the D7 side of quicktabs queue. This doesn't appear to have any code so believe this may not make it, sorry! Thanks though!
