I am using Quickstart 0.6 - Thanks very much. I'm learning a lot as I stumble along.
The version of Drush is from 2010-04-23 so I wanted to update it. After hours of searching and reading including work being done on developments toward an auto update for Drush which is in the works, I decided to just try copying a newer version to Quickstart and over writing the existing version.
When I did this I noticed that the original folder ~/drush/includes has a file table.inc that is not in the latest drush version. I am wondering if this is an extra Quickstart configuration file that I need to keep or a file that can be deleted?
I am also wondering if in overwriting all the other files in the ~/drush folder I have overwritten any important configurations for Quickstart. I hope not.
Please can some one help me with these quick questions.
Thanks,
Izzy

MichaelCole commentedHi Izzy,
I'm not familiar enough drush to answer you're question definitively.
I would check the drush documentation for more details on how to upgrade.
~/drush is the installation folder for drush in Quickstart. Any modifications or additions to drush belong in the ~/.drush folder (notice the . ) That's where you'll find drush_make and a link to quickstart's drush modules.

izmeez commentedMike,
Thanks for the answer. Do you know what the table.inc file is for or where it came from? It looks like a broader linux file.

MichaelCole commentedIzmeez,
This file looks like it was part of drush for formatting the output. It may no longer be needed in the newer version.
