I tried using Quickstart but I could not access the company network with a different username.
I attempted at creating another username but because the www files are in the quickstart user directory I quickly ran into permission problems.

If would be great if the files for quickstart were not in the user directory but in a common directory such as /var/www/ and /etc/.

I am new to linux server setups which is why I really like quickstart.
The Drush make commands are super useful. Thanks!

Hi Taiger, it's possible to make another user, but you'd have to copy the settings over yourself.

I'm guessing your having trouble using the commands to connect as a different user.

for example, try adding username@ to the domain name.

E.g.

ssh someserver.com

Would be

ssh user@someserver.com

Look into the documentation on how your connecting for more info.
