I'm using your vm and updated manually (without using git) the tools Drush and Drush Make to latest version without any problem, everything is still working as it should.

How to do to have those tools on those stable version by default ?

I'm glad you're finding Quickstart useful.

You can have the drush and drush make on any version you like or need for your work. However, the quickstart-create/delete commands are designed for those specific versions. They may work on other versions, but I can't provide help if it breaks.

I would like to know if, for the next release, we'll use the stable tools.

I've tested them and everything seems to be working as it should.

Thanks for providing such a good idea ;-) I replaced my old MAMP by that tool and I love it.

Sure, it's take more memory, but all the tools are there and working nicely together !
