I installed quickpost on 4.5.1 and was able to configure it fine. But when I tried to create a new post using the specified methodology ... mydomain.com/quickpost/blog/politics ... I got a sql error:

warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/.xerxes/mediagirl/mediagirl.org/modules/quickpost.module on line 178.
warning: array_unique(): The argument should be an array in /home/.xerxes/mediagirl/mediagirl.org/modules/quickpost.module on line 185.
warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/.xerxes/mediagirl/mediagirl.org/modules/quickpost.module on line 186.
warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/.xerxes/mediagirl/mediagirl.org/includes/common.inc:344) in /home/.xerxes/mediagirl/mediagirl.org/includes/common.inc on line 167.

Thinking that I perhaps misunderstood the instructions, I tried mydomain.com/quickpost/blog/2 [a taxonomy term] and got:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: taxonomy_access() in /home/.xerxes/mediagirl/mediagirl.org/modules/quickpost.module on line 189

What's more, my regular composition pages suddenly had two bundles of taxonomy selectors, one above the (un)post time settings, and another duplicate set below. Disabling the quickpost module rectified that situation.

Overall, the module was DOA.

Also, I understand that the headers error above is sometimes related to extra spaces in the module. I installed everything stock off the Drupal website. I have not had such SQL errors before, and I have no idea what might have gone wrong.

I hope this is clear enough to be helpful.

Yeah, that was helpful, thanks.

You were entirely right with the first part, the taxonomy has to be a number.

And for the second part, it's fixed in CVS. I was assuming you had taxonomy_access installed, which was a bad idea.
