I'm running drupal 4.5.1

I'm using the url format: /?q=quickpost/image/4

When I try and create an image node using quickpost with a normal user, I get an Access Denied error (I can post normally with that user). Same goes for any node type.

If I use an admin account, the form shows up, but if I try and click on either the Advanced or Hidden tab, I get the following error:

warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/httpd/httpdocs/modules/quickpost/quickpost.module on line 182.
warning: array_unique(): The argument should be an array in /home/httpd/httpdocs/modules/quickpost/quickpost.module on line 189.
warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/httpd/httpdocs/modules/quickpost/quickpost.module on line 190.
warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/httpd/httpdocs/includes/common.inc:344) in /home/httpd/httpdocs/includes/common.inc on line 167.

The url for the clicked Hidden link that is generated is: ?q=quickpost/image/hidden
If I try and add the term ID to the end of that url, it just brings up the normal screen and none of the hidden items.

If I don't click the advanced/hidden links and just post the item then it posts fine.

I think I fixed this too, I didn't support non-clean URLs before. See if the CVS version works.

I'm using clean url's and have this problem. Are you sure it isn't a permissions issue because of all the tabs that show up with quicknode- book, story, etc. If user doesn't have permissions for these node types than the module won't work, I think.

The only access you need is create content, I'm not seeing it on my end. If anybody could track it down I'd take a look at it but on my machine it works fine and I can't figure out what's going wrong.

Make sure whatever taxonomy you're posting to allows the node type you're trying to input (though the tabs shouldn't show up in that case).

But do they need create content permissions for every node type. For example, my authenticated users can only post events, blogs, and pictures. If one of them goes to mysite.com/quickpost/blog they get an access denied message.

If any site user with proper permission goes to mysite.com/node/add/blog they see a view without the advanced tab, and taxonomy categories appear twice. If they edit their blog they see a quickpost view with the "advanced" tab present.

Ideally, I'd like users to be able to create their blogs the regular way, but keep a few options advanced or hidden. I'm not sure if the module is made to support this, but I assume it is since the quickpost tabs show up in the edit view.

Quickpost doesn't check those, but they do call hook_form which I think does. So yeah, you're right they'd need permission to post certain node types.

However, you need to read the README.txt. You never go to "node/add/X", you always go to "quickpost/X". It is a 'create content' replacement. You can have a form with everything the normal form has, minus whatever features you want. So you can use quickpost and get what you want, but 'create content' shouldn't be used.

I'm marking this as fixed, since the edit form seems to work fine. Since you were using the other form incorrectly, I'll assume everything is fine until you say otherwise.

I just installed the latest CVS and it looks to be working properly.
