There's a lot of admin menu projects going on, perhaps a few should be merged?

I don't believe these projects are similar at all. The ones you list deal with the administration menu/control panel... not the administration of the menus themselves. This module is strictly an interface for directly administering the menus and their structures, something very badly needed IMHO.

Yep, sirkitree nailed it. Naming is tricky. Those similarly named projects are mostly about rendering the menus. My project is about administering the menus themselves. (I love simplemenu, btw)
