Installing Pushtape for the fist time, and the workflow is great so far:-)
There's something strange about the Shows 'teaser' view - the description, body text is unformatted.
Whatever formatting I use in the text edit area (filtered or full html), the description of the show appears without a formatting under 'shows'.
Clicking on the full page event, and text looks normal....
Is it a bug or have I done something wrong?

Right you are. Looks like the View was outputting "plain text" instead of the "Default" format. I've committed a fix for this in 7.x-1.x, you can also manually fix:

1. Turn on Views UI module
2. Navigate to admin/structure/views/view/events/edit
3. Under "Fields" click Content: Notes
4. Change Formatter dropdown to "Default". Click "Apply (All Displays)." You will also need to manually do this for the Feed display (if you need it) since it is an overridden display.
5. Click "Save" to save the view.
