Hi, I need to change all the menu items in french and all the pages links and titles.
So I went in the views and change them without problem except for Releases.
I can change the view title for Album (my Release word in french) except when I change the path to /album I got a Page not found on the Home page.
So, thinking ahead I decided to make a new Content Type and have a new block for my front page.... except when I tried to remove the Content block I have to choose a region, I cant choose "None".
I understand that the Content block is used on all the pages to display the events, news, releases, etc.. but I could used a different one the the front page. Even changing the Show block for specific pages didnt worked.
Any idea where to go from here? is there something in one of the module or the themeplate I can change "realeases" for "album" without destroying anything?

zirafa commentedThe default homepage path is set under Admin > Configuration > Site Information. The URL is usually something like "admin/config/system/site-information". You can set a new default homepage path there.
You can't remove the main content block. I'm not sure what you were trying to accomplish but if you are just trying to change what appears on the frontpage it should be much simpler than what you are describing.
You shouldn't have to go into module or theme code to update this. Keep searching for the right configuration options. If you have a live link to your site I can take a closer look.
By the way, are you aware of Drupal's translation and localization features? It may help a bit. More info: https://localize.drupal.org/translate

chocolatfrog commentedthanks for you help, yeah I couldn't change the link "release" in the view because it was used in Site Information.
That solved all my problem.
