Right now the option for adding a password is set for all content types. Would it be possible to specify the type of contents that can be protected? Thank you

Marat,

I have no clue how that works, but the author made a note on the front page of the module:

For those who upgrade the module to the newest version: These releases contain a regression. The protected node admin page no longer contains the node type selection control. This represented a duplicate functionality with access control and have been dropped in favor for access control group regulations. After upgrade, please go to access control and give your groups at least access to view protected content.

I'll be testing, maybe I'll find out. It sounds to me that the "group" is a role and thus what you're asking is just gone!

Thank you.
Alexis

Marat,

Okay. I see how it works. The author provides one permission per node type. So go to admin/user/permissions

This is the same as your node type view/edit/delete feature.

Thank you.

Marat,

Another note: If you are the Admin (i.e. UID = 1) then you'll see those on all pages no matter what. Only other users will see a difference.

Thank you.

Hi AlexisWilke, thank you very much for your concern. Yes you are right, I can control that from admin/user/permissions. It is under control now. Thanks again!
