Everytime I try to access a protected page, I enter the correct password and receive the following errors:
"You are not authorized to access this page."
"The you are trying to view is password protected. Please enter the password below to proceed."
The page shows up twice, two headers, two content areas, two footers etc.
Any ideas why this may be happening?

MadtownLems commentedI have a similar issue. The first time I enter the password, I get sent to a user login page with Access Denied. However, if I navigate back to the page, it works as expected and lets me view the content.

MadtownLems commentedAfter getting behavior like the OP, I just did a fresh Drupal install and on it, protected_node works fine, so this problem must be related to some other module, but I don't know what it is yet.... Still looking for any other input!

MadtownLems commentedGOT IT! (kind of)
This module does NOT work with login_destination. I disabled that, and it worked fine. They must have a namespace conflict or something - I'm no pro... hope this helps

mtolmacs commentedThank you, I will make a note on the module page that it conflicts with login_destination.
