This warning stays on the status report even if all the permissions are given to at least one role.

Protected nodes access rights None of the roles has access to protected contents
Without giving access at least one of the available roles no-one can protect nodes or access protected contents

This should be fixed in 6.x-1.x. There was a bug in the code for PostgreSQL and anyway I modified that code heavily. It is now in the .install and also checks another potential problem.
