Can't use newlines in emails

The Email content appears all on one line. So when I want it to say:

Hi,

I just posted a [node:content-type] that I wanted to share with you

Title: [node:title]
Link: [node:url]
Access Code: [node:password]

Enjoy!

[current-user:name]

The email that gets sent ends up looking like this:

Hi,I just posted a [node:content-type] that I wanted to share with youTitle: [node:title]Link: [node:url]Access Code: [node:password]Enjoy![current-user:name]
