Hello,
I just realized that the "Protected node email support" is not working for me. The emails are not being sent to the address/addresses specified.
According to the email field description:
"for an email to be sent you MUST (1) protect the node; (2) re-enter the password; (3) publish the page."
I have " Enable protected node email support " enabled in the configuration.
I have tried it many times fulfilling all the above criteria and the email is still not being sent.
Am i missing something ?
Help appreciated.

Did you try to figure out if it is an issue of protected node or local issue about email sending in general ?

Thanks for the quick response. I doubt that this is general email sending problem, because i have other module in the same installation which is sending the email fine.

There is another younger issue about email https://drupal.org/node/2251603, where there is no problem about sending email.
I close this issue.
Feel free to re-open if the problem is still present.
