Hi. Love the idea of this module. Something I've been wanting for a while (as have many others) is to capitalize specific profile fields. For example, I have a First Name and Last Name field, I would like the input of both these fields to be auto-capitalized upon save. This would remove the need to use ucwords() when printing the output. :)
Would really love to see this implemented.
Thanks :)

darklight commentedOr even, the possibility to modify the user's input right before it gets sent to the database. This way an admin could do anything they liked to the data, including ucwords()
Maybe have a textarea where you have $data object loaded which would be the user input, then let admins enter PHP manipulating $data in the textarea, which would be used as a middleman between the form input and the database. A little like Rules does.
This would probably make more sense, as it would cover a much wider range of functionality.

sammyg commentedHow about these?

If I've got the right end of the stick, I think they cover all the bases...

darklight commentedThese are for CCK. Not Profile Fields :/

sammyg commentedAnything stopping you from using the content_profile module? If you're after fancy profile stuff, I expect you will find this more powerful.

darklight commentedYeah I considered that a long time ago. But I use the core profile module and custom theming. the profiles are perfect for what I need. :)
