How ever, I have request to make,Where I am struck
I have Roles about 200,some have hierarchical connections
1 Role-A
2.Role-B
3.Role-C
a) Role-1
b) Role-2
1.Role-X
In the above scenario the actual role will be the end(root) term
in the above tree Role-2 is not a role,but Role-X is role it only a term to contain a role,
So Role A,B are roles, C is not role as C is not the end term, Role 1 is role because it is the end term,
I have checked the module,I have used hierarchical Select to force the user to select the end term, if we could populate the roles list to select the role specific resume to be linked to the selected term it will be nice to have feature.
Good to know that AAS feature is incorporated in this.
Other wise I need to create a dummy general profile and use it for registration and later trigger the role change with rules to get the user to correct profile
your support in this highly appreaciated

Can you please explain what features (on top of the referenced request) would be added? Maybe a step-by-step walkthrough of the proposed functionality would be helpful.

We will create roles :Role A,Role B,Role1and Role X ,
Create profile types Prof A Prof B ,Prof 1,Prof X
We will create Vocabulary as follows
Vocabulary -"Roles" field settings -"force user to select root"
Vocabulary terms:
1st level
1 Role-A(Attached to a profiles type Role A)
2.Role-B(Attached to a profiles type Role B)
3.Role-C->2nd Level-----a) Role-1(Attached to a profiles type Role 1)
-----b) Role-2-> 3rd Level --1.Role-X (Attached to a profiles type Role X)
1.there will be only one user registration form, where user will have select box
2.the list contains Taxonomy terms with widget "hierarchical select" vocabulary "Roles"
3.the terms are hierarchical

3.Role-C(NOT a role)

The idea-> I am configuring erecruiterinstall profile for my website,erecruiter has built in rules configured to automatically create entity(Profile2 type "Resume") when a user account is created,at Present only one for role "Applicant",I could clone rules and use for other roles as well,

what halmsx wants is
attaching a role to a path using pre- populated select list of paths, in other words , Roles and paths are fixed and we are attaching to users,
Since we have AAS incorporated, user is auto assigned role->resume is created.
I don't know if made it clear, let me know if i am not clear

PS:Our Profile2 Registration Path module works per profile means, we are doing with in the profile type,What is required is doing it out side the profile type-Perhaps a separate menu item in Structure, Where we can deal with all the profile types which are having"show on registration page"

Closing other issues to consolidate requests.

Currently feature requests include:
1)Adding AJAX to the path field so that you can add multiple values, without limit.
2)Create new administrative page for Profile2 Regpath containing a draggable table of all Profile2 profile types.
3)Changing get_profile_type_by_path() and related functions to handle and array of profiles

These features are being developed on the master branch. Please feel free to contribute. The draggable table needs some work!

#3 has been accomplished in the new dev branch. Still need work on #1 and #2.

an alternative to #2 has been implemented. You can now manually select profile weight on each profile's edit form.

new thought for #1:

Rather than using AJAX to add multiple paths, it may be better to simple create a textarea where admins can enter a unique path on each line.

I'm not entirely convinced that the request to have multiple paths per profile is still desired.

Please reopen this issue if you'd still like that final feature added.

I think this feature will be useful when some profiles share some fields with some additional field exclusive to them. For ex
If there are multiple roles like

Buyer, Seller, Manager, Site-Admin then field like

Basic Profile : First Name, Last Name, Address
Additional Profile : Company name , Address, TaxNO
Seller Profile: Basic profile + Additional Profile

Manager/Site-Admin : Will be added manually by admins or using invitations so no need to assign any profile.

For above configuration if multiple reg path is provided to "basic profile" like /buyer/register and /seller/register
and for Additional Profile again /seller/register is set then when navigating to /seller/register will show all required fields related to seller.
