I was just wondering how good / usefull would be to create such a module for cck... What do you think? We would then have the hability to use it along with views, make content types private by default and a few more things.

PS: i'm not asking you to create it for cck... you've already made the big part of the job ;)

This is meant to be a really simple example of node access. I'm not sure it makes sense to expose it as a cck field.

This isn't a very good match for the CCK model, though the latest version for D6 does offer Views integration and the ability to set defaults for each content type.

This is really a good idea of implementing node access settings via FieldAPI

Then we can create the private and public nodes for any content type.
