Hi, bear with me... this is a bit complicated.

I'm successfully using prepopulate to pass in a term reference into a node add form using the link:
<a href="/node/add/vocabulary_name?edit[field_vocabulary_name][widget][0][target_id]=tid">click me to post a node in term name</a>
where vocabulary_name is the name of the vocabulary with the term in it, and tid is the tid of the selected term.

I have hidden the title and the form field with the term in it from the user so as to make it simpler for them, and want to use views to create a page title including the term name selected by the query... something like: "Post a Node in Term Name".
I've done this, but when I put in edit as the query parameter in my Global:Null contextual filter (so that I can use the selected term name in replacement patterns) I get the word Array instead of the term name. I think I used to get this term name to work in replacement patterns until a fairly recent upgrade of the prepopulate module to the new format of how to post the query parameters (when edit became edit[field_vocabulary_name][widget][0][target_id] )... but I might remember incorrectly as I'm wondering now if then I was using the term name to pass, rather than the term id, and perhaps I'm just using false logic here.. so I think (maybe wrongly) this is either a bug here, or simply something Im missing. I have tried putting edit[field_vocabulary_name][widget][0][target_id] as the query parameter, but then I get nothing output into the replacement pattern (if I put a fallback value in I get that).

I'd love either a reply telling me what I'm doing wrong, or someone clever to include this in the module as I can see other people wanting to eb able use their query parameters in replacement patterns.

Sorted. I used a second query parameter with the term name instead of the term id in it... so I used the term ID when prepopulating and the node title of the term page I was navigating from as the second query parameter to populate the title. :)
might help someone else.
