Would it be worthwhile to allow users to set the length of the premium preview instead of limiting content to the teaser length? Maybe an admin option to select either the teaser or a set length. I was wondering if there would be anybody else interested in this feature.

My recommended approach to this kind of problem is to assemble your own logic for this in a template preprocessor. It's not really feasible for Premium to provide options for all the different things you might want to do when presenting Premium content.
