Hi,

by selecting 2 terms in one node: Parent term and child term. The child term disappears in the breadcrumbs.

I've installed the 1.3 version back and the module works fine.

I think that's intended behavior if the parent term is lighter weight than the child term or has the same weight but is sooner in the alphabet.

Correct. To not confuse pathauto you should always select the child-most term.
