Have upgraded 2 sites recently to D6.14 among other modules.

Noticed the same in both....that the custom pathauto urls are no longer working when you try and navigate to them, giving a 'page not found' error.

On one site Pathauto was un-installed and re-installed and the anomaly appears fixed.

On the second site this 'fix' has not worked.

[Paths to a View are fine -but links within the View to internal pages are /node# not /pathauto alias.]

Hmmm..ok, so its working today (24 hours and several cron's later).

Any idea what it was anyway?

Update: The 'fix' did not solve the problem permanently. I had to come up with another solution and therefore removed all 'books' on the site, leaving the pathauto and this has allowed pathauto to work even through another core upgrade. It's not the optimal solution though.

I can only conclude that this is an issue with pathauto and books, and being that I have worked around it, will close issue.
