For example, when I have to remove word "più"
the "ù" isn't converted in "u" but deleted
by "Reduce strings to letters and numbers from ASCII-96"
and I get in title things as "pi" that is only a wast of space.
Can you do something for this?

1. rename or copy i18n-ascii.example.txt to i18n-ascii.txt
2. check "Transliterate prior to creating alias" in pathauto "General Settings".
