Problem/Motivation
Content editors who are managing multilingual content on Drupal often use only the English (or they other, native) interface to create content. In these situations, they select the language of the actual content from the "Language" options select element.
Unfortunately, in such situation, the generated path aliases contain mixed language:
- Token values which are extracted from configs are in the language selected for the interface.
- Content token values (obviously) have the language of the content item just created.
Steps to reproduce
- Node, Content Translation, Config Translation and Pathauto on top of a minimal install
- Create an additional language, e.g. Hungarian
- Create a content type
article, label Article. Translate the content type's label to Hungarian - [HU] article
- Create a pattern for nodes:
/content/[node:content-type]/[node:title]
- Enable content translation for the content type
- Visit
/hu/node/add/article
- Select "English" at the language dropdown, fill in the title and save.
- Node is created in English.
Expected: /content/article/english-title - The path alias of the English node is in English, and does not contain any Hungarian word.
Actual: /content/hu-article/english-title Path alias contains Hungarian type label.
