I have been trying to make short urls like sitename.ext/date/name/ but i am getting 404 error when using the link, wont work with / at the end of the url. Why is that?

I'm a little confused about the nature of the problem. Here is a set of "steps to repeat the problem". Could you correct them or add more informaiton?

1) Your page path pattern is [date]/[title-raw]
2) You create a node today and get a url like example.com/20080625/my-page-node
3) You visit example.com/20080625/my-page-node and it doesn't work?
OR
3) You visit example.com/20080625/ and it doesn't work?

Which one is the problem?
