Hello-
I have read all docs and watched several screencasts but I cannot find any documentation that explains the difference between the settings i.e.
1. How does the blog field in Node Path settings differ from the Blog Path Settings
There is a settings for blogs but also a node blog setting field. So I am trying to figure out what each section does and if we need to modify both blog fields.
2. Are their any docs on updated URL recipe best practices.
Thanks Again

greggles1. The "Pattern for all Blog entry paths:" is the pattern that will be used for all nodes that of the type blog. The "Blog Path Settings" is for a user's blog - i.e. blog/1 becoming blog/administrator
2. The most up to date docs are in the current README.txt (just updated today) and also in http://drupal.org/handbook/modules/pathauto

venusrising commentedHi Greggles-
I looked in the readme.txt of both version 5 and 6 (within the module) and I only see text from May 16th. Is this the incorrect readme.txt?
1. It says forums are handles separately. So I assume it was once controlled as general content? Is there any suggested recipes for forum content?
2. I still cannot seem to understand how the rest of them differ i.e forum path vs node path settings>Pattern for all Forum topic paths:
I have:
FORUM Path Settings: [vocab-raw]/[catpath-raw]
(Node path settings) Pattern for all Forum topic paths: forum/[title-raw]
Maybe in the future a simple this controls this and this controls this could be added to the online docs. It works great and I have been playing with it as well as learning about the index set up with it whick is very valuable. I am just having a bit of a brain block on the difference.
3. Will PathAuto work with a CCK content type?
Thank you for your time-Again!

greggles@venusrising - the best answer is to experiment and see what happens. Once you've done that it would be awesome if you could provide better documentation.

greggles@venusrising - are you still confused on any of these points? If so, please re-open and ask about the problems you are having.
