Hi. my Link Path is '%node:field-flavor'. That field is term which you select when creating content and every term starts with capital letter. So using that '%node:field-flavor' for a path I get it in capital letter. i.e.:
should be www.mysite.com/node/cherry
but it gives www.mysite.com/node/Cherry, because the term is Cherry, not cherry.
Of course the link works, but it should be lowercase for some other reasons. Would be nice if there was some setting to make all lowercase or something.
For example Pathauto integrates with Plupload and works very fine on cleaning files paths to lowercases, it has an option for that. It's just an example.

To fix it is very simple:
In the paths section of your custom breadcrumb use the pathuto identifier by placing
<pathauto>|before the path that you would like changed to lower case.I found the above info on this page http://drupal.org/node/609650#comment-2218094

ronin17 commentedSorry to bring this issue back up, but this solution seems to be just custom breadcrumbs, not necessarily path breadcrumbs, correct?
Are you able to use the pathauto special identifier in path breadcrumbs? I haven't been able to get this to work. Using latest dev release 7.x-3.x-dev (6-22-13).
This could solve my issue, so I'm hoping I am just not doing something right.
