Update module to the latest version. Then check "Decode HTML entities" setting (should be enabled) on settings page (/admin/structure/path-breadcrumbs/settings).

I can't reproduce this bug on 7.x-3.x.

I'm reopening this issue because I can reproduce the problem like this:

  1. Enable Path Breadcrumbs
  2. Visit a node that does not have a Path Breadcrumb rule defined, with a page title containing an ampersand, like 'Me & My Friend'
  3. The breadcrumb is output as 'Me &amp ; My Friend'

It appears that the 'Decode HTML entities' setting does not work if the 'Use module breadcrumbs render function' default setting is set. Thanks.

Hi @vinmassaro!

Could you please what was the source code of your breadcrumb before you enabled Path Breadcrumbs?
Please check real source code, not the code from inspector.
