where is the panels_page module?

Yes. I tried to use this and the panels_page module doesn't exist.

panels_page module was part of the panels-6.x-2.x branch which has been removed from the drupal.org repository.

Panels 3 now uses Ctools's page manager module to achieve the same thing, but if you want the functionality of this module you should use Panels Everywhere

are you saying that panels_everywhere is a replacement for panels_sections in Drupal 7?

@SocialNicheGuru: Not a direct replacement. There is not an upgrade path.

It fulfils the same sort of functionality as panels_sections for D6, just 100x better.
