array_filter() expects parameter 1 to be array, null given

I'm using Panels to gather user data from a content profile. I've put the information into the right place in the panel, however on the page i get the error:

warning: array_filter() expects parameter 1 to be array, null given in /home/innerw12/public_html/modules/cck/modules/nodereference/panels/relationships/node_from_noderef.inc on line 42.

Anyone know how this could be fixed?
