Is it at all possible to use Panels to style a content type? I have a content type that will be for user generated content so the content layout will need to be styled automatically after the user has entered all the fields and submitted the page.

I know that content template can be used for this but I feel a bit lost with content template and was wondering if I could use panels instead...

Note: CCK adds fields to nodes. It does not, by itself, create content types.

Panels styles node output normally only on the node/% page.
