hello,
I have installed panels , created content by using panel. I like the module as it requires less changes for data to be shown on the site.
but I read about panels that it loses some features that a page has. I did not get any more information on the above statement .
please let me know if it has the disadvantages as I am thinking of using panels instead of pages.

After installing panels, I saw that as one option under create content.
So I used it to create my content and I linked it with one of my menu item.
I also used pages to create content and they are also linked with the menu item.

After using panel I found it is very good for displaying content for the user in a good way(UI is good).

So I thought I will replace the pages which I have linked with primary menu by the panels , which will be shown on the website.

But read somewhere that Panels lose some features that a page has. I searched for this in the drupal site , but did not find anymore.

Can you please help me so that I can use panels instead of pages.

I can't think of anything specific that you lose using a panel instead of a page. Panels are much more flexible than standard pages.
