Hi,

If you're defining Panels Layouts plugin in your theme and if you're using Twig engine (with TFD7), you won't be able to use .tpl.twig templates, you will be forced to use the .tpl.php templates.

An issue has been submitted in Drupal core, I'm waiting for feedback for fixing this.

Hi,

As said in #2824538: Panels layouts are unable to use Twig templates,
I removed the Panels Layouts from the theme and created a custom module for them.
The custom module contains only the Panels Layouts, with their .tpl.php files, and in the theme, we are able to override them with a .tpl.twig file without any problem.
