I had a custom panel style working in the previous panels 3.x dev from about a month ago. I just upgrade to the latest and any region with my custom style does not display -- UNLESS I only use it once on a layout. If I use the plugin more than once, WSOD. Can anyone thing of anything that has gone into panels in the last month that would cause this? The style works great, if you use it only once per panel/page. I'm also now seeing this in my error log:
sites/all/modules/panels/plugins/layouts/flexible/flexible.inc).

Letharion commentedI'm not sure what has changed, but it would be useful to the see error from the WSOD. Check the webserver log.

chrisschaub commentedThere is nothing in there ... it can't write a log entery because of the way it dies. So, the error above is really it. I see in the commits that there was some code related to style plugin caching? Maybe that's it?

chrisschaub commentedSorry, drupal with php 5.3 issue. Fixed on my end.

chrisschaub commentedI had a bug related to $content->content in a panel style plugin when I needed to use just $content -- somehow the variables changed a bit over the last few months -- or maybe it was we went from php 5.2 to 5.3? Also, I was falling into the plugin path being cached. Since upgrading to the latest dev of panels, the cache seems to be clearing fine. I was able to migrate a site between platforms using Aegir which altered the sites dir path -- after the upgrade, the path bug went away. Thanks, ok to close it.

merlinofchaos commentedHmm. I don't think $content has changed but...maybe it did in the 7.x upgrade. I'd have to go back and check honestly. Thanks for letting me know, though, this is good information to have.
