I've seen how everything drupal is largely git now, so are pushed updates to dev stable-ish, as in useable? Or should I say "more useable" than the current alpha release for D7?
I'm curious about this question for both Panels and Ctools since both of the major releases are somewhat old now. I'm going to run them both on a test site, but is the general consensus that they can be used in production too without blowing up?

Letharion commentedBoth -dev and stable work well as far as I know, for both modules. There's probably gonna be a new release of Panels "soon". Ctools has been in -rc for a long time and is stable. Unless there was something I dearly needed in -dev, I'd stick to stable myself though, just because it's easier to maintain.
