All modules load for-ever

Same issue here...anybody?

I have the same problem, this is a brand new installation, however my core files are 7.2 and the mod is 7.3. This may be the issue however unlikely. Check your core and hollah back.
This has stalled most progress in my site

while i've been trying to figure this out, i've found that nothing works in panels. click a button, it does nothing. load load load. thats add context, change layout, and add content. I know someone out there is using this module, and its not messed up. So please help me. I have three module on my site, ctools, views, and panels. They are all useless if i cannot add content to the page or panel or view. NO errors just eternal loading. My isp is good. I've reinstalled twice. cleared caches and changed themes. I got a new browser, still nothing happens. If the objective of panels and ctools is clear enough, is their another module that can accomplish this.

This kind of issue usually suggests that javascript crashed somewhere. Is there an error in your javascript console that might help explain?

Someitmes bad javascript in other modules or themes can interfere and cause crashes.

Thank you merlin so much for taking the time to respond. The drupal community really is a force to be reckoned with. I looked into the downed javascript and bingo. Turns out it was the theme i WAS using. Something in the theme.js file. I didn't change the file, just the theme (default and administrators) Everything just turned on. I love this module, it is a website builder. In case you'd like to look into it further, i was using Metropolis theme, trying to utilize the slideshow.

gkazhus: I have given you some steps to attempt and a request for more information. You re-opened this issue but you have not told us what you've tried to do. That doesn't really help anyone, does it?

We cannot just solve this issue for you with no information.

As I said, this is usually an issue with Javascript crashing somewhere. You need to check your javascript console and see if there are errors. These errors, in particular, are difficult to debug, and almost always are about some kind of interaction with some other piece of software you have running. Javascript can be very finicky and when it crashes in a different place, it can totally fail.

It can also indicate crashes on the server side, but usually those will print a window letting you know it failed, so that is less likely. I would put my money on the javascript error first.
