My pageroute contains the submit buttons above the page content. The route though starts with a short intro page. There is no need to submit this page. The user should just push a forward button. For the next pages it makes sense to have those submit buttons. The last page is a good-bye page and there again I don't need the submit buttons above the page content. It would be great to:
1. ...have the pages which are not needed to be submitted show simply as a text and not as button.
2. ...or maybe the possibility to avoid texts/submit buttons for specific pages at all
3. ...and if you want to top it: a highlighting of the submit button/text of the active page the user is dealing with

(BTW, can't say it often enough: Thanks for your marvellous work on this whole set of modules related to user profiling!)

2 is already doable, just set the label to ''.

1 and 3 would be really useful, I think 3 will be possible soon.

If I leave the "title" empty (I guess that is what you are talking about) a button will still appear at the top and will be named after the "name" field which is a required field. Ideally I would like to switch the top button of.

hm, yes you can only disable submit buttons at the bottom - the tab-like submit buttons cannot be disabled
