I am working a lot on a 4.7 site, using a.o. pageroute. I'd like to know the proposed route: Should I rather develop on HEAD, or is HEAD going into the 5.0 limb soon? In that case: should I rather make patches against 4.7.x-1.x-dev, or what is the plan.

Currently just make patches against 4.7 as there is no other code yet.

I'll start to port it to 5.0 as soon as the RC is out and I've ported the other nodeprofile modules. Then I'll use a 5.x branch and HEAD for testing out new features, but staying 5.x compatible.
