OA2 just won't install at all

I have been trying to install OA2 for 2 weeks, I've uninstalled EVERYTHING several times, including WAMP server, installed other versions of WAMP as well as OA 2.0, 2.13 and 2.15. All I ever get are errors, errors and errors, all different kinds of them. My last attempt was with 2.0. It actually installed all the way to Choose a theme, whereas before I couldn't get past installing profiles. I choose my theme and then it bottomed out and now I can not even get to the site at all. Which means starting all over again I assume. I can assure you this is extremely frustrating and isn't really giving of any confidence in this being a viable piece of software. Although I see others have been successful. I am using a Windows 7 64 bit pc with WAMP. I would appreciate someone giving a successful combination of the versions of software that has allowed it to work before I just give up. I keep seeing in the forums people saying that they have used a piece or version that has issues...OK..which version does not have issues. I haven't been able to find a post that says that or has a link to the usable, non error generating download. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you for your time.
