I originally got this error:
https://drupal.org/node/2013214

Once I applied the patch that error went away and I got this one:

Drush command terminated abnormally due to an unrecoverable error. Error: Maximum execution time of 240 seconds exceeded in openatrium-7.x-2.x-dev/includes/menu.inc, line 347

in /etc/php5/apache2/php.ini and /etc/php5/cli/php.ini max_execution_time is 340.

OA2 doesn't change the max_execution_time anywhere, so somehow you didn't edit the correct file or restart apache. Nothing I can really do about this in OA2 as execution time is pretty server specific. We are working on the rid error for installations over in the #2013214 issue, so no need to duplicate work here.

I ran into the same issue, it's probably caused by node_access_rebuild, it uses drupal_set_time_limit(240); which will set the timeout to 240 seconds. This overrides the max_execution_time.

I guess this is a drupal bug, but not really sure. It might be a memory problem.
