I'm working on a site that uses Susy-based grids. My custom Page Layout is working fine, but for Panels, I'd like to have a Content Layout that uses that same grid rules. I currently have a choice of Golden, Grid (2), Mondrian, and Naked. I don't think these are geared towards using my Susy grid?
I made a folder in my theme called "panels", and a folder inside it called "layouts"... I thought I could just copy my custom Content Layout folder here and it would then be a choice under Panels Layouts.
But after clearing cache, I'm not seeing it. Did I follow the steps correctly? Am I missing something? Misunderstanding how Omega 4 works?

fubhy commentedtake a look at how omega defines it's omega layouts. Also take a look at omega.info for that. There is a ctools plugin definition in there that you need to put into your .info file too. For further info for how to create Panels layouts in your theme I suggest you consult the Panels documentation on that topic. It's quite well written and explains it in detail.

minneapolisdan commentedThanks, I will look some more. For what it's worth, I did have custom Panels layouts on my sites under Omega 3, and it was simply a matter of copying folders over to the theme folder, following this same structure: panels>layouts>"custom layout whatever"
In my .info file, I did have the following line of code:
Should I be adding this to my Omega 4 theme somewhere? Perhaps NOT in the .info file this time.

fubhy commentedOmega 3 did not do anything to change the integration / the way in which you provide Panels, nor does Omega 4. The way you provide Panels layouts has never been changed and will never be changed. You simply define them as Panels expects you to (no Omega-ism there).
Yes, add that to your theme's .info file. It's required. It's not part of Omega, it's part of Panels.
So, first put that into your .info file, then drop the panels layouts in that folder (panels/layouts);

minneapolisdan commentedAdding that to my .info file was all that was needed, thanks. But when I next run drush omega-export, will that overwrite my changes to the .info file? Or will it just add to it?
I was trying to follow instructions on adding the plug in a custom module, because I was afraid of losing any custom code I added to my .info file. But #1, I couldn't get it to work, and #2, perhaps I don't need to worry about that.
Thanks for the fantastic support.

fubhy commenteddrush omega-export just exports the theme *settings*. Nothing else.
