Hello,
I have created a sub-theme and layout and it is working fine for me . But I want to create a home page /landing page template (layout) that is entirely different from innerpage layout. If I create a new layout is it possible to apply for landing page/ home page ? . or any default template like page--front.tpl.php ?

Well, either hook_omega_layout_alter() or the Context Omega module: https://drupal.org/project/context_omega

Also, this is a support request AND support requests are NEVER critical. Please read the issue queue handbook for further information on how to use the issue queue: https://drupal.org/node/317
