kevster111 commentedSorry for the update title was written poorly
Comment #2
mpotter commentedYou change the contents of the Type, Priority, and Status fields for worktracker in the Space -> Config -> Variables page. You shouldn't change them in the base content type because they are overridden by these variable settings.
kevster111 commentedThanks but I should have been more clear. I can do what you said, but Im trying to change a few of them globally to all the spaces created are you saying they can't be changed globally like other content types?
Basically the companies and spaces represented use the GTD methodology for keeping track of tasks in the tasks area and calendar. Works extremely well with just a little tweaking of the existing categories and adding a few more.
With hundreds of spaces it is difficult to go back through. I guess creating a task section blueprint with the changes would work.
Mike is that the route you would suggest or is it possible to just change them globally. I marked it as a bug since it seemed like it should be something that would be customizable without code editing but I get it if its intentional for managing updates better.
Thanks

mpotter commentedYou probably want to move this over to the oa_worktracker issue queue where dsnopek can comment on it. But since these select lists are coming from variables it seems like you'd just change the global variable values to do this.
And yes, doing this with a blueprint would be the normal "Atrium way" to do it, although I honestly haven't tested if the worktracker variables get cloned properly or not.
kevster111 commentedIll send it to oa_worktracker issue queue. Ya the global values don't save for whatever reason on the worktracker content type, All others work as standard drupal content types.
kevster111 commentedMoving from open atrium issue queue. I believe this is a bug but maybe not.
dsnopekThis isn't something you should change in the field settings, oa_worktracker provides it's own settings form for changing the allowed values (which can also be configure on a per-Space basis).
To change the values globally for the whole site, go to:
/admin/openatrium/worktrackerHowever, if you've already customized these for a particular Space, the global settings won't override them. This will just affect Spaces that haven't been customized.
kevster111 commentedThats where I was saying I cant change the settings. Basically can't change them in either location, tried /admin/openatrium/worktracker first then tried in the content type fields.
Id reopen this but not sure if Im suppose to. Definitely not working on either of my atrium sites but maybe its something im just overlooking.
dsnopekHrm. Well, it works for me! Can you provide instructions for reproducing the problem starting from a fresh install of Atrium? Without a way to reproduce locally, I can't help to fix the bug...
kevster111 commentedThis can be closed. I am not sure what happened could have been some sort of cache issue. It is saving now.

dsnopekAwesome! Glad you got it working. :-)
