It would be nice to have a feature like an email every person in the same role.
For example like the rule module like this (https://www.drupal.org/project/rules_role_email)

The primary goal of the notify module is to remain a light-weight and simple alternative to the more comprehensive notification frameworks, (e.g.: Subscriptions/Notifications). This means that not all feature requests will be implemented, even if they are a good idea.

This feature does not fit well with the overall philosophy for Notify and, as pointed out in the issue summary Rules Role Email exists. No point in competing.
