I'm know this is a simple module and that maybe this is to much for the intentions of this module but I think this can be a great addition that will the difference from other Notifications systems.

Will be great if the notifications can be filtered by relationships. For example if I wanna receive only notifications of my friends.

I think User Relationships support is way beyond the scope of this module.

However, if you or anyone else are willing to donate their time and write a bridge module that does this type of integration, I'll look at it and test it for compatibility when it is ready.
