Custom subscriptions not going into queue

I am using the default custom_subscribe_all custom subscription (see screenshot). I notice that I cannot change the "event type" to anything other than "NODE". I subscribe myself to this new custom_subscribe_all custom subscription, and then I create a "new post". I then check under ADMINISTER->MANAGE SUBSCRIPTIONS->QUEUE and run a test. Nothing is processed, thus nothing is sent. What am I doing wrong and why does it not catch my "new post" post?
